This session will serve as the missing manual for new scrum masters. Removing impediments and facilitating the process sounds pretty easy, but what does a scrum master really do with their time? What is the difference between a good scrum master and a bad scrum master? What about a good scrum master versus a great one? As a new scrum master there is a lot to learn and a lot to watch out for; we'll start with day one, sprint one and go from there by providing some battle-hardened recipes for scrum master success.
Allen Hurst is Vice President of Consulting for Improving Enterprises in Houston. He has a background in software development and has been leading agile teams for over 10 years. For Improving clients you’ll most often find him playing the role of Agile Coach. Since 2008 he’s been helping large and small organizations across a variety of industries adopt Agile Software Development.
